Global Wealth Report 2017- UHNW

The numbers are staggering at both ends.
Aggregate global wealth rose 6.4% to AU$368 trillion in the 12 months to mid-2017 which equates to AU$74,394 per adult and a new record high.
It is estimated that there are 148,200 adults worldwide who can be classed as Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) with net assets of AU$65 million and above in 2017.
Australia has 3,000 of these UHNW adults and ranks sixth-highest in the world.
At the other end, 3.5 billion people or 70% of the Worlds adult population own less then AU$13,000.
